Handmade Tour focuses directly on a small and special part of Italy; the Gulf of Poets, the area between the regions of Liguria and Tuscany which stretches between the Apuan Alps and the sea and between the Appenines of Tuscany/Emiliano and the sea that laps the coast around the Cinque Terre, the Tyrrhenian Sea. Cities famous for their artworks like Lucca, Pisa, Genoa and Parma are an hour away from La Spezia in the car and an hour and a half from Florence.

Our tours take in all the beautiful and interesting things there are to see, discover and try in our part of Italy.

There are wine and gastronomy tours, linked to traditional local products (wine, oil, pesto and honey), art, history and culture tours, shopping tours for lovers of fashion and design and things made in Italy in general, tours linked to sporting activities, such as trekking, diving, climbing and rafting/ canyoning and tours linked to music and entertainment.

The essential element of all our tours is the focus on the traditions and unique features of the inland area of the upper Val di Vara valley, the Colli di Luni hills and the vast area of great natural beauty which extends from Lerici to Portovenere and across the whole of the Cinque Terre.

We have only one mission: to fully meet the expectations of those wanting to discover this area of Italy, squeezed between the sea and the mountains, offering the chance to become a temporary inhabitant of this area and observe the habits of those who live here, visiting and seeing at first hand all the places where the local traditions were born.
